Shift your students from gamer to creator with design thinking! This workshop will explore basic game design principles and how you can incorporate them into your stand-alone classroom projects or content-connected demonstrations of knowledge. Much of our focus will be on Bloxels, but we’ll also explore a handful of other tools that simplify the technical aspect of game design while allowing your students the creativity to create worlds of fun. Recommended devices are either a phone or tablet AND either a Chromebook or laptop.
