About the event

This presentation will introduce teachers to the concept of executive functions, how executive function impact learning and how executive function weakness shows up in the K-8 environment. Educators will come to understand how to implement evidence- based classroom modifications and interventions in inclusive classrooms. Beyond pullouts and extra time with students, educators can learn to embed developing executive functions into their daily lessons, exchanges with students and homework with no extra prep.  Addressing executive function weaknesses has been shown to provide equality for children and teenagers with diverse learning differences, socio-economic backgrounds, and experiences.
