GENERAL EDUCATION DEVELOPMENT (GED)
General Educational Development (GED) Tests can give you the opportunity to earn a high school equivalency certificate. . . a credential recognized as a key to employment opportunities, advancement, further education, and financial rewards.
While no formal preparation is required to take the GED Test, examinees may take advantage of preparatory courses offered through the College of Lake County. Preparation courses are tuition free and offered at convenient times and locations. Courses are offered in Grayslake, North Chicago, Waukegan, Zion and other communities. GED Tests are given at the College of Lake County campuses in Grayslake and Waukegan.
If you need a ride, the PACE bus serves both the Grayslake and Waukegan campuses.
