Transparency

It has been an honor and privilege to serve the citizens of Lake County for the last 6 years.

From the moment that I became your State’s Attorney, I gave you my pledge that I would provide honesty, integrity, and full transparency in all that I do.

I believe in fiscal responsibility and accountability to my entire community.

Towards that end, I am announcing that I will make my Lake County government-issued credit card (sometimes referred to as a procurement card or “P-Card”) expenditures a public record.

I am voluntarily posting all of those credit card expenditures on the Lake County State’s Attorney’s Office website. These postings will date back to when I assumed office in December 2012 and will be updated on a monthly basis. I answer to you, the citizens of Lake County. By doing this, you can view what I am doing, where I am going, and how your tax dollars are being spent.

I believe it is my duty to provide you this information so that you can evaluate your government’s activities and its responsiveness to your needs.
