November 8, 2016 General Election


All registered Lake County voters may vote by mail, early, or on Election Day. Before a ballot can be issued, every voter must sign a ballot application for each election. Voter's identity is verified by a signature match to voter's original registration record.

    (Waukegan, Zion, and Beach Park only)

    All county libraries, township centers, and municipal offices, early voting and Election Day voting sites will also have copies available.

Voter Registration

Grace Voter Registration is available:

  • November 8 (Election Day)
    6 am to 7 pm
    Voter must use assigned Election Day voting site or the Clerk’s office. Use the Polling Place Locator to find your assigned voting site.

Applicants must be U.S. citizens, residents of their precinct for 30 days before Election Day, 18 years old on or before the general election, provide two forms of valid identification, and vote at the time of registration. Both pieces of identification must show voter’s name and one must show current Lake County address.
