Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs)

Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) also known as Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) are defined by the CDC as, "infections caused by pathogens that can be acquired and transmitted from person to person through sexual contact".

Chlamydia had the highest rate of infection out of the sexually transmitted infections in Lake County from 2010-2014. Chlamydia and Gonorrhea rates have increased from 2010-2014.
