Therapeutic Intensive Monitoring

The Lake County State’s Attorney’s Office, 19th Judicial Circuit, Lake County Public Defender’s Office and the Probation Office, work together giving offenders a ‘second chance’ in treatment, self-sufficiency, and reintegration into society, before being sentenced to the Illinois Department of Corrections for the felony offense(s) committed by a re-offender. If the offending individual completes all of the court ordered duties under the Therapeutic Intensive Monitoring (T.I.M.) Program, they are given a graduation ceremony for their successful completion. (T.I.M) Courts Division handles all three specialty courts, which include Mental Health Court, Drug Court, and Veteran’s Court.
